Enjoyable stay at a unique property, peaceful but you need to drive to dinner.
It is a unique and interesting property, they once trained bulls there for the ring. It is a traditional hacienda situated in a large olive grove. The manager upgraded us to a nicer room on one of the wings, it had a sitting room, bedroom and bath. He said the room we booked which was in the main house, was small. We appreciated the upgrade. The manager also made a reservation for us at a very nice restaurant, about a 12 minute drive from the hacienda. We had a great meal at the restaurant. Breakfast was adequate, nothing fancy but food to get you going.
Getting in and out requires you to call the desk from a unit on the gates, and it took a bit for us to figure this out and to communicate with the desk. There are two gates in, the preferred gate to use for guests is actually listed as the service entrance, so we came in the main gate but then exited and came in the other gate after checking in. They could explain this better in the information they send. It is a few minutes off the beaten path, if you want to have dinner be prepared to drive, but if you want peace and quiet this is a nice place.
